NAF Board of Directors Announces Departure of The Very Reverend Katherine Ragsdale

The NAF Board of Directors announced that The Very Reverend Katherine Ragsdale is no longer with NAF and the NAF Hotline Fund. 

“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to thank Katherine for her leadership the last three years,” said NAF Board Chair Lori Williams. “Katherine helped steer NAF and the Hotline Fund through an important transition period and we appreciate her commitment to members, staff, and our shared vision for a world where people can access the abortion care they need without barriers. We wish Katherine the best in all her future plans and endeavors.”  

The Board will conduct a national search for the next President and CEO and will look for a leader with a proven commitment to NAF’s mission of supporting abortion providers, as well as to the fundamental principles of justice and equity that underlie that mission. In the interim, the Senior Staff team will manage day-to-day operations and work closely with the Executive Committee of the Board to ensure a smooth transition and guide the organization forward.  

“We know this is an incredibly challenging and uncertain time for abortion providers and our work has never been more important,” said Williams. “All of us at NAF are committed to providing the programs and services that our members rely on. We will continue to put our members first and fight together to ensure people can access the abortion care they need.”
