Bonyen Lee-Gilmore

Bonyen Lee-Gilmore joined NAF as the Vice President of Communications and Brand in 2026. Prior to joining NAF, Bonyen has served in communications leadership roles for national advocacy organizations including Patient Forward, the National Institute for Reproductive Health and Planned Parenthood. She has dedicated her reproductive health, rights, and justice career to state-based policy and litigation work with a focus on strategic communications and media. Bonyen’s work on media campaigns has helped advocates defeat anti-abortion attacks, create stories that affirm bodily autonomy throughout pregnancy, and redefine conventional reproductive freedom narratives. She has nearly 20 years of health care, political strategy, advocacy, and media experience including work with state and national reproductive health and rights organizations. Bonyen is based in Kansas City, Missouri.
